That as well as learning martial arts, the ancient Samurai would also be taught about poetry, art and flower arranging to give themselves a truly rounded education.
I think we should try that in the Dojo sometime...

Can I put in a request for one and all to add any photos they have from the previous term. Nationals, training, socials, christmas meal. I think we have most up but there may be others lurking around.

For all those wishing to grade this term or just wanting to improve their jitsu.....
Variety is the spice of life and you should all be aiming to get jitsu instruction from as many great instructors as possible......
In the spirit of this there will of course be a massive Essex turn out for the regional course in Hatfield this Sunday (18th of Feb) meeting at the sports centre car park at 9:30.
....and further in this spirit you guys should try to get along to some different training, a great one is the chelmsford club taught by Barry Collyer (and sometimes his brother Neil) which trains on a Saturday from 11-1 at the mildway gym, anglia ruskin uni, http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=570885&y=207825&z=1&sv=570885,207825&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
or your home club during the uni holidays - check out the TJF website for more info.
Enjoy and see you sunday (or saturday for those wanting to join me in a wee trip to chelmsford).

The Quantum Jitsu thing looked quite cool. How long do you think he practised that stuff, can you imagine what happens if it goes wrong?
